The JMRC, short for the Jelle’s Marble Runs Committee, is directly involved in consulting with and advising Jelle on his videos. Our goal is to maintain the quality of marble sports established by JMR and to extend its popularity throughout the world. With our resources, we help JMR wherever we can: We debate the design of videos, events, and rules, establish official canon, maintain the wiki, run social media promotion, and much more. Our impulse is our passion for this, our motivation is the community, and our loyalty is to the sport!
The overall task of this committee is to ensure that all JMR Original Series run smoothly and without any complications. We review every event before it is released to ensure no mistakes have made it into the final upload, and ensure that every event is released on time. Most importantly, we consult with the JMR fanbase daily, which is commonly active on our Official Jelle’s Marblebase Discord and on our subreddit, r/JellesMarbleRuns. We listen to your complaints, we listen to your wishes or anything you have to say about the events, and together we will find solutions for any given problems.
On our main discussion platform, which is currently on Discord, we communicate and discuss any JMR-related matter. We review your messages, your tweets, and your comments beneath any event and evaluate how satisfied you are. We function best when we receive feedback, so please don’t hesitate to contact us and share your opinion. It is our task to handle criticism and we are trained to stay professional while doing so. In the end, we all want the same thing – for Jelle’s Marble Runs to have the best content possible and for we, the fans, to enjoy said content as much as possible.

Our president, Mellacus, founded the JMRC on 10 February 2019. He is the Community and Production Manager of Jelle’s Marble Runs, a moderator of the subreddit, and just an amazing guy. If there is one person completely crazy for JMR, it’s Mellacus, he has done absolutely everything for this community and proved that time and time again. He composed the soundtrack of the 2018 Marble League, created the custom starting gate for Marbula One, and continues to help on production wherever possible. He also runs the Mellospace Industries fictional marbleverse company, which gives insights into the creative and technical creation process.
Discord : Little Mighty#8423

Our editor, Little Mighty, joined the JMRC at its founding. He hosted the fan vote for team captains and coaches and wrote other important Reddit and Discord posts. In mid-2019, Little Mighty started a Marble League magazine called The Rollout, which has released four issues so far and now runs in an online format here: https://jellesmarbleruns.com/author/the_rollout/
Discord : Stynth#0231

Our writer, Stynth, joined the JMRC at its founding. He is to lore writing what Shakespeare is to playwriting: establishing a fictional narrative that ties into the events of Jelle’s Marble Runs through JMR Canon. Stynth is involved with several other aspects of community engagement as well: He is a Facebook and subreddit moderator, staff member for The Rollout, runs the Marble League Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter social media accounts, and runs his own Discord dedicated to discussion of canon: https://discord.gg/mkpz8zg. In addition to helping with aspects of post-production, Stynth recorded new team chants with his a cappella group, Time Check, for the first season of Marbula One.

Our advisor, Gee, joined the JMRC in early 2019. Gee has a realistic solution for everything. He is one of the main people who helps with all kinds of decisions, from penalty points to locations of filming. He specifically knows a lot about the Marble Rally and has made beautiful graphs about scoring systems and standings in the past. Gee, along with Little Mighty, had the original idea for the fan voted teams to be in Showdown.

Our artist, Betawolfs, joined the JMRC at the beginning of the 2019 Marble League. Beta is like the Stynth of Marble League artwork. She has worked on a ton of projects where she continuously delivers masterpieces, such as the Seven Seas Stadium artwork and 2020 Marble League Patreon tickets. Whenever we need help with artwork for articles or other projects, Beta comes in clutch. In her free time, she can be found drawing marble commissions, which you can commission and purchase yourself from her independently of JMRC at https://twitter.com/BetawolfsMarble?s=17.
Our marketer, Alayjo, joined the JMRC in fall 2019 and is known in our community for his great social media skills. He became a fan of JMR during the 2019 Marble League and took initiative to try and immerse the community through social media and artwork with his brother, Jack Ironhide, who created the Marbula One team posters. Alayjo runs the Marbula One social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram (https://twitter.com/MarbulaOne).
Our project coordinator, Tom, joined the JMRC in fall 2019. He became a fan of the Marble League after the 2019 qualifiers and started collecting data to understand why some marbles seem faster and fitter than others. He is known as “The Analyst” within the community for his extensive analyses on not only marbles’ performances but also on how the JMR channel performs. As a JMRC Member, Tom has done extensive work behind the scenes with both Marbula One and the Marble League: recording lap times in Marbula One and coding them into the running table at the end of each lap, and helping with planning and production to make the 2020 Marble League the best season yet!
Our designer and analyst, Spex, joined the JMRC in early 2020. He creates our Marbula One track maps, other graphical assets, and helps out with timing and scoring. In his spare time he collects marbles, especially those related to JMR. He also skydives and wingsuits on the nicer weekends.
Our writer and editor, Valencia Parker, joined the JMRC in early 2020. Valencia is a patient longform journalist that specializes in athlete interviews and behind the scenes work. Valencia also does a fair amount of work not only in the writing of The Rollout but also parts of the design and editing for the magazine. Valencia is very excited to continue his work on The Rollout and lend his insight to the JMRC.
Discord: Miss Minty#2195

She has been working as a Moderator and now an Admin on the Official Jelle’s Marblebase Discord server (https://discord.gg/marbles) and is excited to be able to continue to support JMR and the JMRC behind the scenes!
Facebook Fan Group: Terry
Flare, also known as Killian Bladestar, joined the JMRC in early 2020 and first came into the community as a simple premium patron at the start of the 2019 Marble League. He quickly wanted to contribute to the community by becoming a moderator in the Discord, and he is now an Admin of the Facebook Fan Group Page. He is honored to contribute even more to the community by helping flesh out ideas as a part of the Committee.
Ghost joined the JMRC in early 2020 and has been an active member of the amazing marble community for a while. Ghost is known within the community for creating the official seed rankings and serving as a moderator on the Discord, and has helped with several aspects of post-production on the JMRC. Ghost is very excited to continue to work behind the scenes, especially as we near Marbula One Season 2!
Mesp joined the JMRC as an advisor and event checker in the fall of 2020, but has been deeply invested in JMR since the summer of 2019. He is best known for his coordination and attention to detail with events, streams, and games in the Marblebase discord, as well as his unapologetic and aggressive fanboying of the Balls of Chaos. When not busy with marbles, Mesp dabbles in jazz ensembles.
Novawolf joined the JMRC in late 2020 after first coming into the community as a Team Galactic superfan in early 2019. During Nova’s first year in the JMR scene, he spent some time assisting the committee in laying the groundwork for JMR Canon, and in his second year, he became involved in the areas of design and analysis as well, with his efforts landing him a spot on the JMR subreddit moderation team and, now, the Committee. He looks forward to bringing innovative new ideas to JMR and assisting the group in the creation of what he considers to be the best content on YouTube.
Smacg13 joined the JMRC in late 2020. He discovered the Marble League after the 2019 Qualifiers which led him to the wiki. He is now an active editor of the wiki and contributes English captions to JMR videos. Smacg13 is looking forward to helping out more behind the scenes.
Shino joined the discord in early 2020 as an active community member, quickly embedding himself as one of the more comedic characters in the Marblebase. His skillset includes 12 years of video production and graphic design experience, and he has produced multiple award winning videos. We’re excited to have his skills and attitude as part of the team, and are sure that his future contributions will be valuable. Despite his experience though, he has yet to actually do anything, and we’re still trying to figure out why we thought recruiting him was a good idea. Actually, we’re pretty confident Shino doesn’t know why he’s here either. Whose idea was this anyway?
