5th Place, M1 Season 1. 7th Place, Marble League 2020.
Always above average, though never the best: that is the Galactic fans’ refrain after earning far too many fifth places this year. That said, M1S1 was the start of a clear upward trajectory. This team blitzes through straightaways and are at their best in race duels, rarely letting an opponent get the overtake. Their glaring flaw is their undisciplined qualifying performances, having now finished in the bottom half of five qualifier days in a row.

Starry "Ursa Superior" (STR)

10th Place, M1 Season 1 Racer Championship. 1 M1 Gold.
Starry has become one of the most recognizable names in all of marble sports throughout their illustrious career in both the Marble League and Marbula One. Their famous last-second overtake of Clementin to win the ML2017 Sand Rally shows how quickly this racer speeds up, as well as their potential to come back from a position far from behind. With two ML2017 golds and the inaugural M1 Grand Prix gold to their name, there’s no doubt the team’s star will continue to impress, with a combination of high speed and skillful maneuvering.

Pulsar "Cosmic Ray" (PLS)

13th Place, M1 Season 1 Racer Championship. 1 M1 Gold.
Although not as accomplished of an athlete as their teammate, Pulsar has still proven to be a valuable asset for Team Galactic throughout the years, especially in the Marble League Qualifiers. Fast on the track or underwater, this racer’s biggest issue might be psychological, unfortunately saddled with a reputation as someone who falls apart after a strong start. Their run at the Hivedrive, building up to a sprint and overtake for Gold in the final laps, showcases Pulsar at their best: cautious at first to save up energy for the right moment after. Once again, they will show they’re more than Starry’s foil as the team seeks to make another run for the championship.
